In-Service University-Level EFL Instructors’ Language Assessment Literacy and Training Needs

The study examined university-level English instructors’ assessment training experiences, classroom-based practices, and needs in Iran. Sixty-eight instructors who were randomly selected through academic social networks filled out a questionnaire. Eight also interviewed. results indicated that the had received insufficient training, especially practical aspects, because they solely been exposed to concepts theories limited impractical courses offered preservice teachers their universities. Also, recurrently failed put knowledge into practice. Despite this situation, preferred get basic rather than advanced due personal contextual constraints. bears implications for university instructors, teacher educators, administrators.
